SHWAN JAWAL 

1 – Goalkeeper

Shwan, 34, born Baghdad, Iraq, played for a host of teams the bulk being with Bournemouth 146 games between 2008 ans 2014, he joins us from Macclesfield where he helped them back into the football league playing 41 games.

LAURENCE MAGUIRE

6 – Defender

Laurence is a product of the youth team being the captain and has been offered a professional contract, he is the younger brother of Leicester City’s Harry.

Joe 19 from Sheffield a product of Chesterfield’s academy.

22 – Midfielder

Charlie 18, a midfielder and a product of the academy, he signed professional forms recently.

ROBBIE WEIR

15 – Midfielder

Robbie 30, born Belfast in Northern Ireland, a midfielder who started his career with Larne youth team, joined Sunderland in 2005 but didn’t feature and left in 2011 after loan spells with York and Tranmere, joining the latter before moving to Burton where he made 160 appearances scoring 7 goals, then moved onto Orient in 2016 playing 16 games, he played at U18, 19 and 21 levels for Northern Ireland and the B team.

SAM WEDGBURY

20 – Midfield

Sam 30, from Oldbury, was with Wrexham last season, but as he is living in Sheffield the commute was getting too much.

CURTIS WESTON

8 – Midfielder

Curtis 32, from Greenwich, started out with Millwall’s youth team, played 4 games between 2004 and 2006, before moving to Swindon, Leeds, then onto Gillingham where he played 144 games scoring 15 goals then he joined Barnet in 2012 playing 213 games scoring 23 goals.

Centre back Will 27, fro Cricklade, who has played for Swindon, Hereford, Newport, Eastleigh and Aldershot.

Lee 24, from Grantham, a striker joined Grantham from Harrowby United at the start of 2015/2016 season.

TOM DENTON

24 – Striker

Tom, 29 from Shepley a striker who was with Alfreton in the National League North, started out with Wakefield fc and joined Huddersfield in 2008 but didn’t feature for them so went out on loan to Woking, Cheltenham and Wakefield twice, he joined Mosely in 2011, then Alfreton went on loan to Worksop, who he joined before moving on to North Ferriby then Halifax and Alfreton again.

Jonathan 32, born Preston, started his youth career with Morecambe and made a career with Forest Green Rovers, York twice, Swindon, Luton and Stevenage.

Levi, 18 from Newcastle Upon Tyne a product of Chesterfield’s academy.

 Scott 29 from Sheffield, rejoins us for his second spell when he left to Macclesfield in 2013, he has also played with FC Halifax Town, Newport, Inverness, Wrexham and his last club Gateshead, he played 100 games for us scoring 15 goals in a 5 year spell, we gave him his first professional contract.

Jamie 18 a local lad from Chesterfield and a product from the academy.

26 – Defender

Haydn 26 from Selston, a defender from Forest Green Rovers, started with Notts County youth and signed pro for them playing 118 games, he had a few loan spells with Barrow, Hinckley  and Darlington.

LIAM MANDEVILLE

10 – Forward

Liam, 22 from Lincoln, started in Doncaster Rovers youth set up in 2015, playing 64 games in the first team, scoring 15 goals, he joined on loan at Whitby, Colchester and last season played 46 games scoring 4 goals on loan at Morecambe.

3 – Defender

David, 33 from Rochdale, started with Roach Dynamos JFC , Bolton and Bury youth teams, joining Bury in 2005 playing 188 games in a 5 year spell, then he joined Hamilton, Tranmere, Preston and Northampton, he has also played at U19/21 levels for Northern Ireland.

12 – Goalkeeper

Luke, 24 from Middlesboro joined Middlesboro’s youth team in 2014, he had loan spells with Guiseboro, Wrexham, before signing for Northampton in 2017.

Anthony 33, from Huyton started in Everton’s youth set up in 2004, he didn’t feature for Everton but went out on loan at Accrington and Walsall, he joined Walsall playing 155 games, scoring 7 goals then moved to Cardiff, Huddersfield, Shreswbury, Oldham and Carlisle.

Josef, 21, from Liverpool, started in Everton and Newcastle youth set ups in 2017, went on loan to Morecambe and Chesterfield.

21 – Forward

Jack, 22 from Glasgow, started in Doncaster’s youth set up in 2006, signing professional forms in 2014, playing 4 games, before having loan spells with Ilkeston, Airdrieonians and Chesterfield, with spells at Leeds and Cardiff in between.

Anthony, 19, raised in Essex, is a product of Norwich City’s academy, who had a loan spell at Wrexham in the National league last season.

Fondop 25, from Yaounde in Cameroon had loan spells with Maidenhead, Halifax and Guisely, before joining Wrexham.

Jermaine 31, from Croyden, he had youth careers with Tooting & Mitcham United and Staines Town in 2006, he had spells with a few non league clubs before joining Aldershot, Cheltenham and Gillingham, then Southend and Swindon

Jay 19 son of manager John, previously with Oldham and a loan spell with Ramsbottom United.

GEVARO NEPOMUCENO

11 – Winger

Gevaro, 26 from Willemstad, Curacao, he started in Noad, RKC Wallwijk, Willem II and FC Den Bosch youth teams, then signing full terms with FC Den Bosch  in 2011, then moved to Fortuna Sittard, Petrolul Ploiesti and Martimo, going on loan to Famalicao and finally joining Oldham in 2017. He has played 36 games scoring 8 goals for his International team Curacao. 

JORDAN CROPPER

32 – Defender

Jordan 19, Nottingham born, a Burnley right back who played as a forward for Ilkeston Town, he has been a regular in the Clarets U23 team.He has trained with Burnley’s first-team and was part of the squad for matches against Manchester City and Manchester United last season.The Nottingham-born defender, who reportedly is a ‘long throw specialist’,He was rewarded for his impressive performances with his first professional contract in April 2019 on a two-year deal.Before Ilkeston Town he was at Nottingham Forest and Sandiacre Town.

ROSS FITZSIMONS

34 – Goalkeeper

Ross 25 from Hammersmith, started his youth career with Crystal Palace in 2011, before having loan spells with Harrow, Hendon,  Havant & Waterlooville  and Farnborough then joining Bolton in 2014, in 2016 he went on loan to Bishop Stortford, then joined Braintree and Chelmsford, then current club Notts County in 2017.

NATHAN TYSON

Forward

Nathan who is 37 from Reading in Berkshire, where he started in there youth set up in 1999, signing professional and played 33 games, scoring one goal, he joined Wycombe in 2004 played 68 games scoring 39 goals, in 2006 he joined Notts Forest after a loan spell he played 184 games, scoring 35 goals in a 5 year spell, he also has played for Derby, Doncaster, Kilmarnock, Wycombe again and Notts County his current club, plus a host of loan clubs.
